Updates and installations stalling

from Stardock Forums

I have Object Desktop and it appears to be working correctly in general. However, software updates and installations appear to be stalled whenever I try to start them. For example, this is after about a half hour of waiting:

Is there any way to know whether anything is happening? If updates are stalled, what can I do to make them start installing correctly?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Sometimes the server or something else is not working properly. It is best to use direct installer download from your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products or click on this link

If I go to that page, I can only download Object Desktop - there are no links to any of the individual apps I'm trying to download or update. I've already reinstalled Object Desktop; how am I supposed to access the software that is (supposedly) included with it?

My experience is, that downloads from the site are slow, too when OD downloads are slow. Have had that problem several times.

Basj, thank you for clarifying (eventually). Your stupid emoji was not necessary though. It would be nice if something at Stardock acted professionally.

Looking at the thread it was me who sent that smiley, not Basj. I am not officially connected to Stardock. And if You are offended by a smiley I guess You have some other issues. I was just trying to be friendly and help
