What are the technical requirements CPU/RAM/VRAM, etc. For SD software and AI?

Please include Clairvoyance

I think it would be helpful if SD were to give the tech specs requirements for its software...I've mentioned this in the mists of the past, as well. Basic "how to"s wouldn't hurt, either.

But moreover, I for one am truly confused regarding Clairvoyance vs. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.

What do these programs/modules demand from one's hardware per type of task?

I realize the two requests/questions are different.

I feel genuinely like the grandpa I am doddering with my cane with the sentence, "Dammit Jim, I'm a Doctor, not a tech support person!" running thru my mind when trying to figure this AI stuff out.

If I'm lagging too far, then please point me to fundamentals. Thanks!

This thread is somewhat related to frogboy's thread here:

For local AI or cloud AI? For cloud, there are not too many constraints that wouldnt allow Clairvoyance to run - the app itself is not heavy but what you can do with it, could be.

Meaning, if you use Clairvoyance to help rewrite text or generate homedesk artifacts, it's probably going to run on just about anything that can support Windows 11. If you are using it to run 25 concurrent staff that are building a video game like I did on a livestream last night...you need a lot of RAM.

If you are looking to run local AI, you need a high-end GPU or a device like a snapdragon laptop that has an NPU.

End of bdsams's quote

Talking local, can you give numbers v tasks/staff?

I have literally no idea. Say to create a WB.
