What does "5 Active Installs" mean?

I was under the assumption that if I bought one key for Groupy, that I would be able to activate it on both of my computers.

However, when I go to activate it on my second computer, it says it's currently active on another computer and I need to purchase another key.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the is the product page lying?

Check if you actually have "X current activation out of 5 total" listed under Groupy. Report back.
