Help on Creating Themes and Objects

I was wondering if anyone could help me out on how to go about creating themes and objects. I'm a beginner at this, so I don't know hardly anything. I do have Photoshop which I'm sure will help. If there is a tutorial out there that I could look at or if anyone has tips that would be great! Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

wow this is a old post with no replies. I guess no one is willing to help out newbies here huh. Well if it makes you feel any better I am in the same boat trying to find info on theme creation for DesktopX and also for Windowblinds and LiteStep. My main interest is in LiteStep though.

Well...there is the skinning forum with tips,you can ask questions there.SkinsStudio has links to skinning tutorials.There are hundreds of PS tutorials on the web,do a google search.Adam from SS has some great articles at joeuser.com(think thats right)
