Lets assume that the bugs I have are only happening on my machine.. and the fixing of those problems depend solely on my reports of them... Are there even active developement of Version 3? because it really sounds like it has been abbandoned
If that is the case, It would be really great if thos issues got solved:
Inconsistent Grid placement. When you drag a icon, moving it to a new position results in the icon beeing placed in another position. Icons will frequently simply refuse to stay in the spot it where dropped, isntead of aligning with the desktop grid, it will instead junmp to somewhere else, sometimes, behind a fence, which is extremely annoying to get it back, specially when it is combined with the next problem- Imovable icons. Frequentely, Fences will completely ignore the position where I dropped an icon, for example:
- Take a file from a folder portal to desktop
- Delete the file
- Restore the file
- Move it to other folder
- Move it back to desktop
The icon will then ignore the position I dragged it to and will isntead jump to the position it where before deleted
- Selection issues. Sometimes, when doing actions that involve targeting the selected icons, Fences will aply those actions to icons that ware not selected, it consistently happen to icons that where selected at some time and are not anymore. This happens all the time with dragging, copyng, moging from / to a fence and when using drag and drop from desktop to a window, it will drop unintended icons on the program.
I truly believe that issues like this not being solved because lack of reporting are pure bullshit. It happens on a daily basis with no effort to reproduce.
In conclusion Stardock either don't use (or properly test) their own software or are simply neglecting those issues that are well aware and isntead pushing a new version of the program with the intention of making people pay for the fixes on the software they already paid for
I feel scammed by Stardock and I'm not spending any more money with this company.
