I myself enjoy being a Beta tester on multiple fronts. I think by being a Beta tester you do in fact help shape the landscape a bit by reporting problems and adding suggestions. We are the same in regards to not being afraid to try new tech while trying to figure out the best route. I think Windows 11 and Windowblinds will be great, and that is in part by our feedback. The next month will be a month for the beta testers mostly.

For the people that want a stable operating system and don't really have time to experiment or tinker with their pc, then I can see Windows 10 will still being a viable option. Windows 11 is in for some changes, Windows 11's big update is in the process of Beta testing as is start 11 and soon too be new software such as Windowblinds 11. That is a lot of Beta testing to get though. Great for people that like to tinker with their pc and leave feedback but a huge headache for more the casual users.

What I mean about beta can be seen easily if you look at the changes coming down the pipeline if you try Windows 11 Beta chanel for windows insiders. The next update changes a lot. The taskbar behavior is changing a lot to incorporate a tablet mode of sorts. Case and point is that the new task bar features are causing a lot of problems for third party software such as Start 11. These features will soon enter Windows 11 full release. If Windows 11 is breaking stuff that is commonly used on a pc via the beta Channel it becomes hard to argue that Windows 11 is not in a beta state.

Things that are not breaking such as startallback are not actually even windows 11 features. This is because it preforms a hack into your pc's system registry and tricks windows 11 into thinking it is actually Windows 10 and therefore preforms a fix to put in Windows 10's Taskbar into your system. But anything that actually hooks into Windows 11 software is being affected by windows 11's changes.

Certainly that argument can be made. But the degree of which the taskbar is being changed, it could also be argued that the Windows 11 taskbar was released half baked and should have finished cooking to begin with. For example the drag and drop feature probably should have been in the taskbar since release but did not. That leads me to believe the development of Windows 11 was rushed and the original beta state didn't last long as it really should have and, I might add, this was due largely because of the upcoming holiday season. I guess it depends on the point of view you want to take and whether or not you truly believe that the Windows 11 taskbar was finished as intended on release day.

and it works very well, graphics, sound, music, 3d, cad and so on work well 4k,dolby atmos, virtual reality, works very well 139 games with or without virtual reality works, programming languages work the only thing that does not work is windowblinds and curtains

I do not work with the windows interface, about the design or functionality of which one can be of different opinion that the changes are not good for making skins I also know that I have also already created skins

Windows 10, and Windows 11 both are a new model of distribution to the public.  BOTH Operating Systems you claim released to public are Full and Genuinely stable releases.  They are not.

Microsoft is using in this new model a broad-spectrum release of [hopefully they think] fast resolution of issues because every single person [outside of corporate] is a beta tester.

This is one of 2 reasons the systems were made FREE - to saturate the user base as fast as possible.

Second reason is more clandestine, and is to do with a revised business model...much the same as everything else 'online' - targeted advertising.

When you say "everything works except Windowblinds and Curtains" you are patently wrong.

A windows that shows an "Forbidden sign" when you try to drop a shortcut from the Desktop down to the Taskbar is an unfinished product, period.

That is also NOT true.  Oculus Quest and Quest 2 are having nightmares regarding the Oculus Link which does not work on Windows 11.  It is creating huge latency spikes that makes playing a game impossible.   The only solution for now is to enforce output audio to the PC or enable the console on Oculus Server to be shown at all times, this is because Windows 11 is changing something in the way it assign priorities and this no doubt is breaking the Oculus software.

Oculus is nowhere to be found and is not issuing any updates to fix this issue.  Other helmets are having similar issues, already reported.

You will need to refute 42 pages of complains from users before you can state that "everything works perfect with 11".

I couldn't agree more. The recommendation section you are talking about actually was one of the top 5 most wanted features by beta testers EVER SINCE Windows 11 pre-release beta was released. Microsoft tried its best to ignore this. A lot of the features in start 11 are actually features Microsoft chose to ignore from Windows 11 Beta testers.

I have been using Windows 11 since its first dev channel copy was released and have really got the impression that Microsoft is a bit out of touch with its users. So I adopted start 11 pretty early in the process after feeling ignored by Microsoft. It is safe to say a lot of what you see in Start 11 today is from user feedback. Stardock has listened.

So yes, Windows 11's start menu is junk. The only difference is I actually like using Windows 11 with Start 11 and dont feel the need to roll back to windows 10. But then again I am clearly a ahead of the curve type of person. I am ok with some Beta related headaches and can acknowledge they exist. So, I would probably still tell the more casual user to wait until summer to install windows 11 once a few more bumps get ironed out.

Here is a clear cut example of issue's Windows 11's current model is causing. This whole image is the start 11's taskbar resized off the Beta / Dev build.

What happened here is that Microsoft has made big changes to the taskbar behavior that now prevent it's taskbar from receiving re-texture or transparency. The parts unaffected are Start 11's software.

Further questions on this latest design flaw. Will Microsoft keep this behavior once it hits full release in May? Can they be even be fixed? How does Window blinds 11 proceed with such big behavior changes such as these?

Additional problem with a software program such as Windowblinds 11... Microsoft is playing with the idea of adding tabs to their explorer. Only problem is, it is a hidden feature at this point. So which is it, are they adding them or not? Do they get skinned or not?

And the biggest question of all. After all the work goes into building Windowblinds 11, what will Microsoft change with their OS in 2023?

Explorer patcher has been pretty stable in regards to Windowblinds 10 on Windows 11 simply because the Windows 10 taskbar and explorer are stable and won't change anymore. Windows 11 needs to do the same thing with its core components.
