I may have a unique situation. My Fences are Version 188.8.131.52 - Dell Canvas Edition. I have this program through a hardware purchase, which by the way WAS an excellent pairing with the Dell Canvas 27 product. I have enjoyed it, but the device has been retired by Dell, and therefore will no longer be supported/updated.
Issue I have been having is the Fences program does not always load/run when I start the computer. This is intermittent, though. I am running Windows 10 Version 20H2 (OS build 19042.1052) currently, but have been dealing with this behavior over the last couple Windows version updates. It was a bit of a challenge to locate what your latest version of Fences was, but I think I found it to be 184.108.40.206.
One consideration is that my Dell Canvas Edition Version 220.127.116.11 may be too outdated by now, and could likely use a refresh. What are reasonable options? I do like the Fences software and wish to continue to use the product.
Is there a known fix for the issue I am having? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program with no change in behavior. It's inconvenient to not always have Fences load on start, but it's not 'the end' if I have to type "Fences" when it does not show up. Your latest revision is still incremental and within the 3.x of the version I currently have.
What are my options as a 'user through hardware' as would I have access to your current version 18.104.22.168 to fix this issue, until version 4 gets released, then I would expect to purchase the latest version and continue on as a normal customer from there. Is there enough of an update with version 3.1 to purchase it now... verses staying with what I have now, then have to upgrade again when version 4 is released,
