I forgot I still had this software so I downloaded the latest version and installed. Tried the First example the one with the spinning Earth and All i get is a blank screen. The context menu is there. I thought it was my display fusion but Disabled that then even uninstalled it and restarted windows. Still a blank screen no matter what i choose. So version of deskscapes is 8.51. Win Version is 1809 OS build is 17763.253
Not sure what else you might need but let me know and i'll try to supply it.
Thanks

I just got it working. Had to disable deskscape then reactivate the background i wanted. Now all is good on both scrrens. Btw it was 1080p on main and 1600x1200 on second screen. Both have different backgrounds animated and running smoothly now. I guess because i tries to run it with the other still active it wouldnt enble correctly. But its all good now. Ty for fast responce. Does the flyers theme i bought still work with windows 10? Just wondering thx
OK Thanks Good to hear .

If you are referring to the Flyers MyColors theme, it no longer works.
That was the one I was questioning about. OK I was wrong about my problem being fixed. I always lock my computer when I am done so that the kids are forced to use there accounts which have time restrictions on it from Time Boss. After I got back onto my account the background was black again and this time I couldn't resurrect it. Even did a restart and not fixed. I opened task manager and ended the explorer.exe nothing. Moved on and closed deskscapes through task manger and then even restarted the explorer.exe again nothing. Something to note though when ever I closed explorer.exe I would see the background i choose but only for a brief second before it went blank. So it seems like it is applying it but not displaying it on the screen. Any Idea's?
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Would like to know the scaling applied to those monitor (100%,125%,150% etc etc??)
Basj,
Stardock Community Assistant.
i found a forum post that said its a known issue and that they are working on it for next release. If i change size of screen to another size it starts to work then you can go back to your orignal scale. so far doing that its working. so a bug in the system. or like i to say "It's stuck on stupid!"
I have the same problem, my screen stay black and if I disactivate deskscapes, it blinks and i return with my old Wallpaper withtout deskscape
But as posted in other threads this is a know issue and is being looked into,
Stay-Tuned when further updates are available they will be posted.
whats it been now 3+ months? Microsoft threw you a fastball high and inside. Hope you get this issue solved soon, I miss my desktop!!
the joke is, MS are now testing the NEXT update for windows scheduled for April.
thats just 2 months away...
I give up...
So its been a long while now and yet no update ever came out that fixes this issue. Great service. How do i apply for a full refund for something that doesn't work and will never work right??
For refund please raise a support ticket here: http://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
Thank you,

DeskScapes 10 is the current version of DeskScapes which works just fine on the current version of Windows 10.
Deskscapes 8.x was not designed to run on that newer version of Windows. It worked and continues to work on the OSes it was designed for.
I have just updated to the latest windows 10 so on reading what's said about Deskscapes will stardock let us know when it will work.
I installed a new drive and I have installed all my stardock software but Deskscapes.
Deskscapes 10 should work fine on the current version of Windows 10. Deskscapes 8 may not and will not be getting any updates as it is an old version.
