Dave I have spent over 2 weeks trying to get .wba files to install. No matter what I tried, nothing installed.
I have even wiped my entire computer and reinstalled the entire system, and no luck. I have contacted Stardock and received a form response. Finally as of today... I found you.
I recognize your name as one of the programmers for the WB skin styles. I figured if anyone would know anything, about installing these skins and giving me good info, it would be you.
I have a collection of 150 downloaded skins/styles (.wba). I had no problem installing them, until... the newest Win 10 update. Suddenly, the only skins that would install were in the default folder.
Thanks to your advice, I can use any of the skins in my collection and WindowBlinds (WB) is working seamlessly.
This is how I fixed my installation issue.
I typed in WindowBlinds in the search bar. I opened the menu and selected file location and made shortcuts of all of my Stardock programs listed. I created a folder on my desktop labeled Stardock- Control Panels.
I opened the WB control panel and clicked on the gear in the upper right corner. Selected "rebuild list" and exited the Control Panel.
I opened my personal collection of 150, downloaded Stardock skins. I double clicked on every skin.
I reopened the WB Control Panel and tada... The entire collection was in the default folder.
Thank you, thank you and thank you.
