Here's a seasoned Stardock user who's having trouble after so many years. A couple of months ago, some of the Stardock programs I used under Windows 10 "forgot" their license number. This forced me to uninstall Start10 and ShadowFX, and only kept Icondeveloper, because is a very important software for me. I asked from Stardock a e-mail with all my licenses (user e-mail {Email Removed}), and I had to have it handy every time I opened Icondeveloper, because the program asked for the license. Not a great deal, but this worked until last Saturday, when I received a "exceeded activation number" on the process of pasting the license to open the program.
Instead of contacting directly with you, and in a excess of "bona fides" (I had a big collection of icons unabled to be processed due to this problem), I bought a new license, in the hope of linking it with this mail account and overcome the limitation. Even I unistalled all Stardock-related items previous to new Icondeveloper instalation, the software remembered my previous Stardock account and linked the new license to it (both numbers appear on my Stardock web profile under Icondeveloper entry). It worked ok at first use, and finished the project, but on the next opening, the program "forgot" the license number and asked for it. I've not provided it, in order to not "suck dry" like the previous one, but then I can't use the software. I've always used Stardock programs under Windows 10 without problem, so any advice or solution for your part would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance, best regards.
