I'll stick with Win7 until it sinks into the swamp. Non-support is a non-reason to leave it...
I agree that initially it won't be compelling, but eventually reasons will arise. If for instance Google or Mozilla stop stop supporting browser upgrades on 7 I would see that as a real problem. I also just recently discovered that Internet Explorer 11 - the latest version available for 7 - is no longer supported on Yahoo Mail. This will only get worse over time.
Yeah, there will likely be issues with Win 7 after support ends, but it won't worry me too much. I will mostly be using my machine for various older games on the 65" TV. However, I will use it to browse the net while support remains. After that I will re-evaluate, the risks and disadvantages, and take it from there. If it's too risky, I'll just use it for the games and as a media hub for the music and DVDs/Blurays I have collected over the years.
