Like how frustrating is that? You wanna get in before anybody else answers a post you've got the perfect reply to, so of course you want continuation, and the next thing you know the forums have gone boom. Gone boom my arse!!!!
And that bit about the gremlins, I don't believe that for one second.
No, if the gremlins stole the page you're looking for it wouldn't be there later on... would it !!!
No, it's more sinister than that.
Me thinks there are darker forces at work here... and I'm not talking supernatural or Satanic, here.
No, I think it's more likely secretive government agencies... covert ops that even the pres doesn't know about, and they're trying to tap into our creativity because they have none of their own. I mean, seriously, when was the last time a government employee was truly inventive or creative? Never !!! They're not paid for that, so like all government agencies, they spy on imaginative, creative and inventive people to get ideas.... though that's probably not the only reason.
However, I won't go into that here, because again I have digressed from the original thought.
So, who else thinks this Forums Go Boom thing has a lot more to it than meets the eye? Like gremlins, for crying out loud. For mine, they're much darker forces [not supernatural, though I won't necessarily count them out] trying to pick WC brains for artistic and creative things they cannot even imagine
I mean, who else thinks a page has changed after a 'Forums Go Boom' Message? I've often thought it... that text and phrasing has been altered since I was last in a thread, that text is bold when it wasn't before, and font sizes have been altered from past viewings. This has been done to insert scripts and other devices that can suck creative/artistic thoughts right out of your head, I'm sure of it. Governments and their agencies in recent times have new logos and themes they no way in the world have come up with themselves, no siree..
No, those logos and themes, I believe, have come from the brilliant minds of WC skinners and artists... they're sucking your creative thoughts and ideas and are trying to blame poor innocent gremlins. No, gremlins are only interested in eating, sleeping and scaring the crap out of folks on Halloween. The worst part about it is, Stardock has either been sworn to secrecy and dares not inforrm us for fear of agency reprisals, or it is completely unaware that we're being manipulated through the forums like this [well I'm not cos I'm neither artistic or creative]. I'm betting the latter.
Anyway, the upshot of it all is that skinners, artists and anybody with a creative bone in their body should probably wear a tinfoil hat when visiting the forums. Let's not allow the talentless out there in agency-land tap into our resources. As an added precaution, I'd be putting a bit of whiteout on the webcam lens... to be shure, to be shure. I mean, the last thing you want is them looking down the lens and, unbeknown to you, hypnotising you with "look into my eye, look into my eye" and extracting creative data as you unwittingly stare into the webcam lens.
NOTICE: This public service announcement is not intended to scare or alarm anyone, but rather to ask that people be patient when they see the Forums Go Boom message... cos repeatedly trying to view the page can contribute to overloading and causing even greater delays... for everyone.
