Just when it seemed that the fire for skinning such items had but all been extinguished, thank you JuniorCrooks.
I guess I could go and check for myself but what are some other things that xWidget can do?
You are welcome. xwidget can just about do anything you want. I have yet to see any limitations, perhaps there are but it is a very good program that will give you weather, calendar, system monitoring and even taskbar and start menu replacement, there has only been one skinner that has done a start menu so far but that is probably because xwidget is verily new and no one has asked for it. Think windows gadgets/yahoo widgets plus DX all rolled up in one package. If you go to that other site called deviantart there is a huge xwidget gallery.
Here is a shot of xwidget at work. It has a icon in system tray and when you click on it the bottom bar pops up much like what you find with a mac. The widgets you have installed are listed in this bar and are launched by clicking on them. The weather and calendar widget on the screen are what I created. It is actually one skin but when you click anywhere on the widget it flips, one side is the weather and the other the calendar. I just launched the widget twice for the sake of the shot.
