I'm in the midst of swapping out an old 1TB drive that's SMART detailed check gives a fitness of '0'.
I'm getting the odd CRC errors which prevent image backups....and on this drive is all the 'stuff' I use [not the OS]...but work/skinning/music/etc ... so it's imperative I get off this drive asap.
I'll swap out to a 2TB that's still in its wrapper...and use CDCheck to verify there are no unreadable files due to CRC.
Once I know True Image can do an image of the new drive I'll feel a little safer.
Incidentally....first thing that alerted me to the problem was Syncback ...which spits out an error log if it can't backup a file....
