The Dream gallery on WinCustomize has become quite a mess and a problem, so it's time to clear a few things up. Most of these rules will also appy to wallpaper uploads also.
- Fair use of video is limited to 15 seconds of the clip or less than 25% of the original video file in length (whichever is shorter). This does not apply to images that someone takes and you add animation to them.
- Permission must be included with every submission that is not created by the person uploading.
- If it is a stock or "free use" image, you must include a link showing it's usage policy. Just saying it's public domain is not acceptable.
Remember, using your own work avoids all these issues.
Dreams that don't have these will be rejected, and I'll be exiling any current ones in the gallery over the next few weeks that aren't updated or removed.
