IMHO,the bug reports would have been the first thing to address, rather than Win 8 compatibility, What good is an outdated buggy program on a new OS? But, beyond bug fixes for the long running issues; (long load times, text behind the tabs, left hand mouse usage issues, random crashing which resets the dock back to default, to name several):
A much simplified, one click way to back up and restore your settings.
A "Send to ObjectDock" r-click entry to add shortcuts to the dock.
More options for the custom flyout menu, perhaps emulating the stacks docklet functions. A speed adjustment on the current one would also be nice. Sub-docks, such as used in NeXus would be extra great.
More dock/undock options along the lines of WFX animations. (fade, collapse, implode, wobble, open from, etc.)
Adjustable spacing between icons, and a way to use a much thinner separator between them.
A lot more m/o- launch animation choices.
In short, in all honesty, a lot more like NeXus and less like the unsupported, defunct Rocketdock.
Thanks for being open to ideas, that is what beta releases are all about.
