If people can put up pictures of scantily clad females (or female appearing people), D/C can post other scantily clad male appearing people. The question here revolves around 'affectionate/passionate' activity - hetero or homosexual.
I find people who feel they have to make a statement about personal issues do it in varying ways. Would words have said it differently? Yes, and one rule we all must abide by is that this is a "G" rated site.
I'm going to use an example which may or may not be accurate: Let's say a member has a child, or grandchild in the 5-11 years of age range. Is what you are going to post acceptable for that age range person? That largely depends upon the value system of the responsible adult chaperoning the child, but I think most would say, "We haven't educated our child about that yet."
When I was at those ages, there just weren't images like those widely or easily available. Also, 'standards' have changed radically since then. Homosexuality (male/female) was then considered an illness by Psychiatrists. Now that is correctly, I might add, not so.
I believe the standard here (and I certainly could be wrong) would preclude those (or similar female images) based on the age related/family site norm based on the activity, not the "issue" as some might perceive.
Thus, while nothing is 'innately wrong/sinful, etc.' regarding those images, I believe they should be changed out.
Let me make this perfectly clear: No homophobia/stupid/immature remarks will be tolerated by Moderation or Admin. Nothing about homosexuality is abnormal nor unacceptable. I accept D/C as he is, and like him and admire his courage.
I only ask the images be changed out until this can get Admin approval... and only because of the 'Family/G' rating for ALL posts.
