Is it a Photoshop issue ?
Greetings friends , I have recently noticed an alarming issue with the drop shadow effects in PhotoShop CS5. When I place my newly created icons on a dark background , I notice a very obvious white halo around the drop shadow. This is definitely unacceptable. I'm not really sure what is causing it, as I haven't noticed the problem in the past, but then again, I may have been using a lighter background and just didn't see it. I've also noticed that the halo is more pronounced on the live folder icons (don't have a clue as to why there is a difference). Does anyone know if this is an issue with PS 5 or is it something else ? Do I need to upgrade to a newer version of PhotoShop ? Is there a different program I can use to get a 360 degree light source for the shadows ? I really need some serious help here and have put all of my skinning on hold until I can get this issue resolved. As it stands right now, it looks as though I will be forced to go back and re-do the many hours of work that I have already invested in this latest project. Thank-you in advance for any assistance that you can contribute and it is deeply appreciated. -- Ace --
