What really worries me is they tend to put an ID tag on your wrist ...and another on your ankle.....
What....are they saying there's a chance those parts may end up in separate places on their own?
Hadn't thought of it like that before... but yeah! Perhaps surgery candidates should do all their own labeling.
I think I'd have another label just to be sure I woke up with ALL the parts I'm supposed to.... "I Am NOT an Organ Donor ... well not at this stage in my life. Thing is, I'd have to write it in multiple languages, given how many foreign nationals we have working in our hospitals while Aussie doctors [and nurses] make huge, huge bucks [ten times what they can ear here] in the Middle East.
And no, it's not that I have a problem with foreign nationals working here as medicos, so long as they're qualified...
I am, though, highlighting the greed of Aussie doctors [and nurses] who desert our shores to become instant millionaires. One of my former nurses recently did 3 - 6 month tours of Saudi Arabia; Dubai; Kuwait and Iraq as a nurse, and came back a multi-millionaire after just 2 1/2 years. She used to be a kind and generous, caring person, but sadly the money [she brags 3.6 million] has changed her for the worst and she's now a totally stuck-up bitch who wouldn't give you the time of day.
