I just got an HP Touchpad. I was wondering if anyone else here has one, and if so, any tips or tricks?
Post 'em here!
The problem is the code used to write this site as opposed to others.
Sucks...lol.
I guess I'll have to live with it.
I have discovered that I am able to login at WC forums,on the Touchpad, just not the main site.

I can sign on at JoeUser.....hmmm...
This Touchpad is too thick and heavy. I am leaning towards something thinner and lighter like ipad 2 or Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1
I finally got Advanced Browser....it still won't let me sign in to WC. I can sign in on the forums though, just not the main page.
Just a side note, if you own an HP Touchpad, you can get 50 GB of free space at Box.net.
But you must install the Box app on the Touchpad and join from there. Then you can login and save stuff from any machine.
I got my Touchpad dual booted with android!!!! Yay Me!!
Did you see the ICS video?
No issues, and I didn't see the video. Linkage?
Also, the video I watched for the instructions leaves out a step. The ACMEInstaller needs to be extracted into the Palm, Inc. Directory or the command prompt can't find it. Took me a few minutes to figure that out.

When booted into Android, hit the market and snag Fire Fox. I can log into all of WC and post too.
Oooooh. Do want to succeed.

Thought you might like that.
Guys, I just put Ice Cream Sandwich on my Touchpad.
Cyanogenmod 9 alpha 0.6
Works pretty well, had to install Gapps seperately and gallery, video, and music didn't want to work, but I was able to install apps to work instead of them.
I just installed Theme Manager (no relation to Stardock) on my Touchpad. Very, very cool!

I did that, and when I upgraded to 3.5 I couldn't find any themes for 3.5. So all I have that works is the default, and an ICS theme for 3.5.
All my other themes were for 3.4 and no longer work.
The touchpad microphone is now supported in the latest nightly build of CyanogenMod 9. Camera and VPN are teh only major things missing . . and I can live without the camera.
And earlier this month we had this: http://blog.openwebosproject.org/post/25941335672/open-webos-june-update-community-edition-released
Yay!
