The Thud at night....6.17pm....heading south over Melbourne at Mach 1.3....

Getting that HUD to work was sheer genius of lateral thinking [gee I'm modest], as it's encoded within an entire Panel Gau file .... belongs to a Mig21....right vintage...wrong side of the 'fence'.

Now I need to invent a way to have the gauges show up at night when lit....as reflections in the canopy glass.  I have a feeling that one's just gonna be too hard.....and also see if there's a way to have a REAL mirror reflection in the mirrors...rather than the moving, simulated fake one it has now.

Everything else works...

 

3 days with that hud, but skinning is 'still' fun....

ok so here is mine, not too sure how it will go as a wallpaper,  but it will be uploaded  to vista logon  as soon as I can remember how to do it... it a photo taken in Launceston Tasmania Australia... I used corel essientals paint 4

thanks Uvah, I spent 3 weeks in Hospital  with Depression and starkers hasn't been well either,  he has been suffering travel sickness  for a while and me being in Hospital didn't make things any easier .

anyway I am on the mend with the right meds and hopefully they will do what they meant to do, I feel so bad that neither of us let people know but we both have had a rough 3 weeks so I am hoping that people will understand its not that we didn't want people knowing, but needed time to feel well again. starkers still not all that well , but he is getting there

Arzo is a nice looking blind. To bad your updated version G3 could not be released to the public. Its a blind I would use if it was updated.

Did I say something wrong Uvah? Doing it for myself means it is not a public update unless I am missing something. I realize personal updates can't be released without permission. I was just wishing thats all.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on releasing it because it's not mine.  I guess I could give JJ Ying the blind and ask him to upload the updated version.

 

I update a lot of skins for win7 - maybe i should put more effort in trying to get the authors to upload the updated ones......hmm....

Nope! I know it isn't yours to upload. I was just throwing a hint out there. ^^^^^^^ the post above. G3 I remember well.  What I don't remember is where I dl'd it from. It was awhile ago. Sat on my desktop for ages. In another thread I mentioned how great it would be if other older skins could be updated. That really would be 'awesome' (quoting myself).

Ok, my newest setup... Essorant's new WB "Primo" grayscaled... Treetog's new icons "iIcons" sitting on vStyler's "Trident Tray", also grayscaled... I think the wall is "Diamond" by Stardock... correct me if I'm wrong.

Note:  I love the way the taskbar buttons blend with the dock to give the illusion that the active button is folding over the taskbar... that just happened by a happy accident.
