About once a month, if that, sdmcp.exe hangs explorer.exe when I try to log in; the system just stops during login until I bring up task manager and kill sdmcp.exe, then everything proceeds normally. I found another ticket on this that was over 4 years old; the advice given was to go into Stardock Central and uncheck some options; SDCentral no longer exists, so that's not an option anymore. What's the best solution now? Are those optional enough there's no reason to run them most of the time, or is it better to put up with the admittedly rare hangs? What does sdmcp do?
