update: trying to show here the allprogs button when its moused over, the animation on the userpane (hard to catch its the blurry numbers) and the taskbarbutton animation, i managed to capture one frame, its only quick and doesnt loop (too annoying otherwise)
I use Jing to gram screenshots and animation.  Might want ot see if it works for you.  http://www.jingproject.com/

thanks for yr input mess..........i COULD make it smaller, but im soo smitten with it being this size...its just so kooky and different.. and well, so me.....

One way to make it smaller might be to rotate the wings closer together and that might allow decreasing the diameter of the circle...allowing the circle to be squashed down from above and up from below...
