While there is no need to recycle anything except aluminum (it's the ONLY product that takes more energy to mine/extract/refine/manufacture than it does to recycle; recycling everything else is actually net BAD for the planet), we absolutely positively need to stop dumping NON-biodegradeable trash (i.e. the few plastics still made from petroleum distillates, etc.) into the oceans.
Nature can clean up everything else, and eventually oil will disappear and so will everything made from it, but it can't do anything about the non-biodegradeable waste we keep dumping at sea. Rest assured, that will come back to haunt us one day.
So, because I have done the research, in this one aspect of environmental lobbying, I do indeed agree with and wholeheartedly support Night Train's agenda here.
