Wanted to reply to Opus's comment on this thread concerning the release of IP 4.2.
That option is not available. Has this thread been locked from public feedback or just those that have had serious issues with IP?
In any case Opus..
Gee, that's real nice. I *still* cannot use Impulse from my work, and since I have been banned from the forums [Since Seabass locked my forum account after deciding that you didn't want to read about users who disagree with your software design principles, and have technical issues as well], can no longer post about my issues. I'll gladly post the info here... And, yes, I had my laptop home this morning and connected, ran Impulse and got the latest updates/version for it. But here at work, even with all proxy settings configured (and testing using multiple combinations of the settings), I cannot even connect/login, let alone download any updates. We have a proxy server at work also. It runs MS ISA 2006. The only way that I can get through the proxy for Stardock apps is to run the Microsoft Firewall Client for ISA Server on my system. If you are not part of the Information Services department you will have to contact your network administrator to see if this is allowed. If you are not I.T. then your company prohibits these actions for a reason and you will have to live with it.
