I am trying to make my first Vista blind, and have run into some problems right out of the gate:
1. I have issues with making pngs in paint shop pro 8. When I save my images as pngs, the transparency shows up in the preview window during the save, but when I go open the image later, I get an image with a white background. The image opens properly in Photoshop though. And, all of the images I made before getting Vista show up with a white background in Paint Shop Pro, but normally in Photoshop. Did anyone else have this problem? Is it a Vista thing?
2. My Vista Start Panel displays as almost completely transparent...like with maybe 15-20% opacity, despite the actual image being 98% opague! I do not have blur enabled. The only way I could get the panel to show properly was to decrease the transparency via WB Config.
I have uninstalled SKS 6, rebooted, re-installed SKS 6, rebooted again with no change. All my downloads I do via Stardock Central. I did not have any issues in making my CHristmas blind Vista-compatable version. This was before I got Vista.
This is so frustrating. Anyone have any ideas on how to solve these issues?
