WB Topbar Issue

I've been using the top taskbar ever since I got my first computer. It's easier access for work.

The quicklaunch icons go behind the start button. Even when I disable the QL-buttons, the taskbar_buttons go behing the start button.

This has been happening for about a year and a half. I've been beyond hope, waiting, that it would either fix itself, with future updates, or just go away. No such luck.

To fix it, I would have to move the bar to the bottom, switch to classic and then switch back to the blind and then move back to the top. It would stay that way until I change to a new blind.

Since I download the newest update, now it's stuck. No matter what I do it stays that way now.

Happens on Vista Home Premium and XP Home, on 3 diffent computers.

It's been 2 months, with no reply. The old saying goes...'If you want something done, do it yourself'.

I've found a way around this problem.

If you're creating a skin from scratch, create the 'new' skin is SKS 6 on Vista ,only, first.

Then if you want to start working on the XP first, like some people do, just transfer it to XP and then come back to Vista, to finish up.

If you create the skin in SKS 5 or 6 on XP first, then this problem will happen. I'm still at a loss as to why.

I start every skin in 5 and XP first..never seen the issue Ross.

I forgot to mention, this is a major problem with older skins, so maybe some people are 'copying' older skin to create new ones.

This may be a factor, also.
