Depending on how you have it set. When you first install and run it look at the top center of your screen for a little yellow circle. I believe you can turn that on or off.
True . .but that's an option (one that interferes with my OD Dock) the systray is ALWAYS there.
It gives you a few choices of where you want to send the resulting pictures or videos.
