We are receiving more reports that the Opera browser has seriously layout issues (and to some degree functionality issues) with www.wincustomize.com now that the Wincustomize 2007 version has been launched.
Opera is not officially supported on Wincustomize 2007.
This is expected. While Opera has accounted for less than 6% of our traffic in the past, and we sincerely appreciate those visitors and users, we could not initially justify the time it would have taken to make the site compatible with Opera prior to the launch.
So! What that means for Opera users at this point; Opera 9 ships with a compatibility mode in which it will handle the site as if it were Firefox. We encourage those of you using Opera to use this compatibility mode, or Internet Explorer.
Are we ever going to support Opera? Yes, absolutely. At this time we do not have a timetable or scheduled ETA for Opera support.
We would like ask (beg, plead, pretty please?) those of you who are Opera users to exercise some patience until we get this implemented.
