It's chupalac and is of extra-terrestial origin -seldomseen was gardening when it fell out of the sky and landed in his vege patch. Well seldomseen, being the compassionate and kind pesron he is, took the poor cupalac inside, bathed and tended its wounds to help it feel more comfortable.....and the next thing he knows the chupal;ac wants to stay, permanently.
Apparently he was launched as an egg from a dying planet to save his species, and much like birds here on Earth, who assume the first thing they see is their mother, the chupalac took to sedlomseen and they've been bonded ever since.....
Now Ssssshhhhh, not a word to anyone, otherwise those mongrels at ET research' ll be over there like a shot wanting to dissect the poor lil feller....and after sedlomseen nurtured, breast fed him and paid out for spectacles to help with his myopia, that just wouldn't be fair, to either of them, now would it.
