You're a skinner. You know to ask permission when using someone elses work. You had no problem getting it from the people whose work you used for your skins. SO why would you openly ask here for someone to alter another artists work?
You've been a member for 3 years and obviously know how it works or you wouldn't have permissions in your skins.
By the way I have "shelled out a few bucks" so I have IconPackager, Icondeveloper and several other applications. The ones that come with the Ultimate Object Desktop Suite. I also have a Wincustomize Subscription in case you were wondering. Maybe you could stop ranting at people and create a helpful user guide for some of these apps. You know, just to help those of us not a brilliant as you figure out how to make, convert icons and such.
Maybe you should have mentioned you had the tools and needed help using them. And I do know you have a subscription..for 3 years. WHich is why I am so surprised I have to explain ANY of this to you.
As for my reply...if I had made you a png and posted it, I would have been pirating or violating his intellectual property..and would most definitely have found myself thrown off the site. It was more a specualtion. I had seen that you had already been pointed in the right direction. Obvioulsy, you needed further explaining, which again, surprises me.
The 'TurkeyDay' was intentional. They seem to come out when the staff takes a break around here.
