Stardock Closed for the Holidays
Jan 5, 2015 8:45

Stardock's offices will be closed in observance of the holiday season from December 19th until January 5th, 2015.

During this time there will be a delay in answering support tickets, so we ask for your patience during the holiday period.  While we will keep tabs on the tickets during the break, we will respond to them as quickly as possible upon our return.

On behalf of the Stardock staff we wish you a happy holiday season and look forward to the new year!

I have seen this posted on Facebook and am unfamiliar with it. Since I don't have ODN right now I was curious.  Is it a desktop customization suite?

AmiKit is a free project that turns your tablet computer or phone into legendaryAmiga

Here's some info on it. I've never heard of it until you mentioned it.

I see. I thought it was just customization. It's more like running linux or something over your current OS?

It seems to be an emulator to turn your 2010-ish PC into a 1980-ish Amiga. Ah, progress!

Might be fun to play with, but I wouldn't run it on my main rig. (at least not before I made a full backup.)

I have an emulater around here somewhere that turns my computer into CSIRAC ...the only intact 1st gen comp on the planet.

They're related....mine has LEDs... CSIRAC has valves...
