Stardock Closed for the Holidays

Stardock's offices will be closed in observance of the holiday season from December 19th until January 5th, 2015.

During this time there will be a delay in answering support tickets, so we ask for your patience during the holiday period.  While we will keep tabs on the tickets during the break, we will respond to them as quickly as possible upon our return.  

On behalf of the Stardock staff we wish you a happy holiday season and look forward to the new year!

A Few App Updates - WindowBlinds, Start8, and Launch8

We had a few minor updates go out today for WindowBlinds, Start8, and Launch8.  Registered users can download through your Stardock account, and Object Desktop subscribers can also update via the Object Desktop Manager app.

WindowBlinds 8.04

  • Fixes a resource leak and right mouse button menus not appearing on the Windows 8.1 Update start screen


Launch8 1.05

  • High dpi fixes


Start8 1.41

  • Fixes a resource leak
  • Fix for clipping last item in right-hand list

Updated WindowBlinds but the other two will have to wait for W 8.1 update xx or 9, whichever one comes first. I'm on W7

Thanks for the fast update. 

The issue with the right click menu on windows 8.1 update 1 is gone.

Now i have an issue with the start8 update.

Yesterday i´ve updated start8 to v.1.41, but today stardock central shows me a new update 1.41.1.

But the update don´t work for me.

After installing, central shows me a problem: code 9.

If i start stardock central new, it shows me the new update 1.41.1 again and again and again...

I´ve tried 3 or 4 times to install, but always the same result.

What is code 9 and what can i do?

You need to try Object Desktop Manager, Stardock Central is no longer supported.

Thanks for your fast answer, but i don´t understand, what´s the reason and since then, since today?

 

Stardock Central is no longer supported.

 

Yesterday i updated without a problem and today no support?

For me, SC is a nice, little app, easy to use, shows exactly the new updates and install it, until yesterday.

Now, i have to go to stardock.com for every download.

That error should be resolved now, and you can try again to update.  Let us know if there's still an issue.

No, as ID said, you now need to use Object Desktop Manager, SDC's replacement. You can download it from your account page.

@Wizard 1956, i´ve tested ODM, but it does not work for me, because i´m not a OD subscriber.
