Stardock Closed for the Holidays
Jan 5, 2015 8:45

Stardock's offices will be closed in observance of the holiday season from December 19th until January 5th, 2015.

During this time there will be a delay in answering support tickets, so we ask for your patience during the holiday period.  While we will keep tabs on the tickets during the break, we will respond to them as quickly as possible upon our return.

On behalf of the Stardock staff we wish you a happy holiday season and look forward to the new year!

Charlie, I always wanted to tell you that your nick was too durned long.

Anyway, Charlie hasn’t been around for some time. That’s because he switched churches and got pretty heavily involved along with his late wife Kimberly in that new church…

Then, due to bone pain Charlie saw his Doctor and found out he had advanced Prostate cancer. He’s undergone various treatments which have improved the quality of his life, but has learned recently that he doesn’t have a great deal of time left among us.

Then, his wife Kimberly passed away last Wednesday. They were married 25 years, and loved each other a good deal. They have two children, twenty one and twenty three.

Charlie just wanted me to let his friends know what’s been happening. I don’t think he has the energy to do that himself, and he’s a very kind, modest and private person of very deep faith. He was always pretty helpful to the folks here, as well.

I’m deeply sorry Charlie never got to visit Israel…he would have enjoyed it (as would Kimberly have) very much, because of his deep faith and his honest love of what Israel means to him.

Since you couldn’t get there Charlie, Israel will come to you. I’m sending you some earth from there, my friend. I’ll put it in two containers so you can share it with Kim. I know how you miss Kimberly, Charlie. I wish I could make that easier for you. Just realize that in time you’ll be together, in a far better and happier place again.

In reading this thread I am reminded of the old saying 'only the good die young', and I wish it were not so.

Some people are not given enough time on this Earth to reach out and touch others with their love and positivity, and I wish it were not so.

Condolences for the loss of your wife, Charlie, and may your faith give you the strength you need in your time of need.

Thanks guys. I don't want to hijack the post here...so I'll make this short. When your time comes it comes...this last stroke did some damage and I spent 6 days in acute care recouping...and I can't really explain it....but I'm just feeling right...been dealing with this for 5 years now and it just may be coming to a close now. That's really all I can say...would be nice to not feel this discomfort anymore. My main concern now is to find my little feathered buddy a good home...not an easy task.

don't you start throwing in the towel mate... there's always a time after you come out of hospital, especially after such trauma... that you can suffer depression... be gentle with yourself... give yourself time to recover...

who is your little feathered buddy again?... think I've seen his pic in the pets post...

by all means... secure his future... that's a big peace of mind for you.... but I think your li'l buddy would like more time... with his buddy... so you start thinking positively...  that's, an order...       don't make me get out the "vWhip"

We just might like more time with you too....      so... start pulling out that power of positive thinking....
