Skin Comments

Late in showing.

Hey guys, skin comments, at least for me, aren't showing up until later.

 

Caused me to make multiples at first. When trying to comment on someone's skin.

 

Is it just me?

 

Oh, BTW....IE9.

me to also replying comments on my own skins

I tried to reload the page 1 \ 2 times even when the comments count was updated my comment didn't show up

I decided to close the page and have a look around and finally reopening the same page my comment was there

Just tried it with Chrome. The page appears to refresh upon clicking the Submit button, but no reply shows.  

Six reloads later and it still doesn't show. Just an fyi.

Nope... Chrome doesn't play well unless you have the IEtabs extension. That should fix it.... but it doesn't.

Tom... it's not possible to monitor the Forums and to do one's job at the same time, and fix things instantly. There's no assigned "Webmaster" at SD as far as I know. Even if there were, he/she would depend on an email/pm to deal with site issues.

If you want to blame someone, blame me. I'm a Mod, and I didn't relate to this thread until this morning due to the repetitive comments on it.

When I saw yours, I pm'd Zu, and he poked someone else and it was fixed on short order. So if it happens again, pm me (anyone) and if I'm around I'll help. OR, get into IRC and nab someone...

I understand what you're saying Doc, but I guess I just have a different view on business and all things related to that business. I did not expect it to be fixed instantly, I just expected it to be noticed and addressed is all. I'll try PM'ing you instead in the future.
