Mods, I have a dilemma...
I see that Tiles only allows upload of tileskinzips. How does one include permission when basing the skin on another's work?
When I make a skin, my option is to create a tileskinzip. No option to add anything.
Haven't checked...but 'most' skin archive formats are simply renamed zips ...so you could try changing skin.tileskinzip to skin.zip ....open it and add whatever....then rename back...
had that same dilemma with vista logons 'til they changed it too.....
what I did and still now do.... is put the permission into photobucket and just link to it from the description....
Good idea! Thanks, Syd!
Lost in the ether, one assumes.....
The important issue is that the 'permission' IS included with the file....
Most uploads on WinCustomize accept .zip files. It's best just to zip all the files and upload them.
Why not just put the skin and permission in a folder then zip that. No fuss no bother.
same as LogonStudio....used to be... would only accept logon file extension..... there was no ability to select .zip at point of upload... it only showed allowing the logon extension... need to get the coding pigeons to pop the .zip option in...
Strange, it should have been set to accept .zips. Anyways, I've asked that it be added.
Ok, the Tiles gallery should accept .zip files now.
Thanks Spencer. You da man!!
