Guys, I know this is just trivial. But I can't undersatnd why this is happening.
When I type anything into the search box at the top right of the page, the text won't go in until I get halfway across the box.
Anyone else?

Not doing it here Jim.
Are you using a windowblind? One blind made access to the "search everywhere" option unavailable. Maybe the one you're using is interfering in a different way.
Oops, I thought you meant the Start Menu search box.
Please post the URL of the site where you are seeng this and a screenshot if you can.
Zub, all due respect.....did you even click the link?
It's here, WC , and I posted a video. And posted it the WC Site Issues Forum.
Yrag, I love you, man!
Couldn't figure out how to embed the Jing video.

Tried a few blinds, all the same. Wiz says he isn't seeing it.
BTW, Win 7 64 bit IE9. Running the 32 bit iE9.
Me too. We have the same O/S specs. Also applies to IE9 64 Bit.
So I'm not crazy......or are we both?
Have you tried shifting your chair slightly to the left?
win7 64 bit ie8, no problems, might be the ie9?
LOL, I heard RnD's voice!!!!
Well strange though, I have tried several browsers but I can't replicate it.
It seems to be related to "compatibility view".
When checked, there is a problem.
When unchecked, no problem.
At least that is what happens for me.
Nightmares cometh......
Ahhh yes, the dreaded IE9 strikes again!
Good catch, I can replicate it here with those settings on Win7/64/IE9
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit SP1 and IE 9 64 bit and don't have that problem.
And how many times have I told members that the Java engine for IE9 x64 is slow, broken and to use IE9 x32 instead?
In my case, I am using the 32 bit flavor of IE9 on Win7 Ultimate 64bit. Compatibility view does cause the issue here. I concur with Scrofulous1.
@ #4 yrag, that's just too frikkin' funny!!!
I lost track. Would you please remind me.
You are dealing with a redneck, what else would you expect. You might want to PM him and let him know how to turn the compatibility view off and on.
It might be the key logger I installed on your PC causing the typing to appear slowly. Have you tried entering your credit card infom, mother's maiden name, date of birth, etc?
Yes! That was it!!! I had turned it on to access my wife's payroll info, and had forgot. Thanks man! K for you!
Although I agree that 64Bit IE9 is not as robust as it should be, the 3 people who have experienced the issue have all been using the 32 Bit version.
I can't believe I got it right!
