I was wondering who on here plays X3? I have the game and gave up on it because I thought it was to complex. I don't know how to play the game except for flying my ship. That is the only thing I know how to do. I don't know how to do anything else in the game but fly around and do some combat missions. I also don't know how to build or become rich. When I do a hard combat mission in a sector. I often let the AI take care of the piolts and then I take care of the rest. I don't know how to play the game well but if anyone knows how to I would also like to know.
X3s do have a long learning curve. Visit their forums and there are lots of well written tutorials. Learn how to trade is #1.
X3 Reunion you can play for months before you are able to build a capital ship where Terran Conflict it is much quicker.
I have X3 TC and Reunion. I haven't played X3 all that much because of that learning curve. In fact, I'm intimidated by it...lol
