forums.wincustomize.com is being reported as an attack page if you set your security settings in firefox to block reported attack sites.
Is this an issue with firefox and www.stopbadware.org or just my system?
I see others in the IRC reporting the same thing so it must be a FireFox issue.
We are looking into it now.
FYI: Chrome blocks the site as well and shows a message stating that visiting the site may harm your computer. Please note that this is not the case. We are looking into the issue now and hope to have it resolved ASAP.

I did the above in FF until problem resolved, using chrome I just checked proceed anyways
double post hell
this could be related, so ill post this here, last week I had a similar circumstance when i tried to go onto joeuser, my browser said the sight will harm your computer. not sure if it still says that anymore.
sounds like hackers to me.........
Getting it on IE8 also. I ran a search for Jafo from the search box on WC home page, and all the results were blocked, every link on the page.
Same here in Firefox 3.6.10 (but not with Firefox 2.0.0.20 & Flash 9). Weird isn't it ?
Tested https://forums.wincustomize.com/ with Norton Safe Web http://safeweb.norton.com/ and no problem at all is signaled.
Isn't there any relationship with recent Flash update ?
Got it once on IE8 here, that whole livertip.com thing Carguy reported in the other thread. But it was Norton that alerted me, not the browser.
I just tested it with IE8. The forum loaded but Kaspersky PURE came up with the report...

Google provides the ads....and Google flags them as 'iffy'.
Wouldn't it be nice if Google just provided better ads.
THAT would solve THEIR problem....
... . I never did trust Google ads.
OMG! You people are attacking me! I have red things all over my screen! Bastards...
I always knew this place was injurious to your health
I was wondering what happened. Last night I tried getting into the forums and got hit with this attack page. Truth to say I got a bit worried. I reported it on the first page that popped up that I could post on. I'm afraid in my haste I forgot to take notice of the page. It was in response to the TWIS or whatever pics were made, I think the weekend pics. I posted the report and added a BTW at the end of the post congratulating the pickees. Has it been resolved?
Wouldn't it be nice if Google provided NO ads.
Yea, and we killed Kenny too.
You ba*tard!!!!!
We asked Google last night to rescan the site. We are waiting for their results.
JoeUser had the same problem last week, also related to ads. We were able to fix it by having Google rescan the site.
FWIW, FF 3.6.10 still doesn't like it.
Yes I agree same here with FF, works fine in IE 8 and Chrome
Possible that Google scanned the site while a couple of spam replies (which I believe contained links to malicious web pages) were still live in this thread.
Here's the Google Advisory page for those interested. Date is off by a day, but hard to know what the 'reference time' was.
Most definitely a FireFox issue. I just tried again to go to the forums and the attack page thing is still affecting it. Although this morning I was able to get in. Using IE8 now until this is settled.
Should it be a possible Firefox buggy and / or browser hacking thing ???
Has anyone reported the "reported attack page" to Mozilla Foundation ??
