Right Click Application freezing

Any word on Right Click functions being added to another product.  This is such a great product when you are running multiple monitors it is a shame to see it die.  I'm having problems with the application seeming to "freeze" on XP SP3 on a newer faster machine.  I have to kill the process and restart.  Also when it freezes it seems to really slow the machine down.  I'm running V1.25 build 756.

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to guess that this is likely due to something you have on the menu. I never ran into any issues with XP SP3 and you have the latest version out. Try removing the items one at a time until you find the culprit. I'd do normal links/folder menus last.

Thanks for the reply.  I shall give it a try.

I'll admit that I'm as thick as two short planks, but I didn't get the icon +1 w/ halo under the question about right click functions in a new app, is this the icon for the new app?

The last I've heard is "Don't expect it any time soon", and knowing Stardock, that means a heck of a long time.

I switched over to NextStart as part of WinStep Xtreme. Give it  a try. It doesn't work with a rightclick though, but with hotspots.

Been asked for patience with different Stardock tasks a bit too much...

Answers like this are pointless, lets get RightClick sorted properly. eg My Windows 7 is playing up. Answer: Try giving Mac a go, works great.

If a product has given bugs and is not developed further on (speak : dead), there is nothing to 'sort' anymore. As simple as that.

Buzz....thanks to Jafo, I managed to get it to work but I had to disable my anti-virus and my firewall during the installation and then put an exclusion for it in the firewall.....I really don't know why that worked but it did. Windows 7 x64.

Carl's right, official word is there's not to be any further development for right click. Brad mentioned that the "functionality" would be incorporated into another product.

Thanks for the heads up Lantec but for me rc has never been a problem except the lack of png's. I dont want to be paying out more money for another prog. that does the same thing.

I have done some additional testing and rc seems to be stable right up until the time that I added the system tray option.  I used this on an older XP SP3 w/o problems.  Any ideas on what I can check?

It might be related to something in the tray. Do you have any programs that are set to minimize to the tray that would normally minimize to the taskbar? Or maybe something that has a lot of notifications like an IM program?
