Unfortunately this messages is heard by only two types in our society, the ones that say 'yes I agree but none of those bad things are happening to me' and the others who say 'yes i agree but we need to change it so I know me and my kind are protected" 

It is has been this way since the beginning of time.  There are no rules when talking about freedoms, they apply to everyone.
