For about 3 weeks now I haven't been able to make comments on anything. The post comment button is there at the bottom but I don't get a message box to fill in. I thought maybe it was a problem with Firefox, as it had recently updated, but I get the same thing with IE8. Does anyone have any ideas?
You have to log in. Look to see that you are when you wish to post. For WC one has to log on twice sometimes...on the home page and when you go to Forums.
I have been logged in, but I just went and logged off and then back on, but the message box is still not there. Message boxes only show up here in the forums.
If you were able to leave comments before, and you are logged in then did anything else change? I've always been a subscriber since I've been here. Not sure if it's required to be able to post comments.

My subscription ran out on Mar 18, and I renewed it that day. The problem with the comment box not showing up had started a couple of weeks before that and did not change when I renewed.
Did you mean the comment box in the galleries? I would suggest writing to wincustomize@stardock.com or opening Impulse and going online with the irc #stardock...there's always someone around.
I had same problem - downloaded Google Chrome browser
and it works for forum commenting - when all my other browsers don't , try it ..
for skin commenting IE and FF works for me , ummmmmmm
I have the same problem on occasion and only have to do a page refresh and the comment editor will open. I'm using IE 8 on XP SP2 fully patched.
Thank you for all the suggestions. Yes it is in the galleries that I don't get comment editor. It is working fine here in the forums.
I will try asking on Impulse. Thanks again.
