Widget Testers Wanted

I came across a web app called 'FreeRinger' through Lifehacker.com. Here is the basic concept :

"FreeRinger is a calling service which allows you to make FREE calls to telephone numbers (in more than 30 countries throughout the world) right from your web browser."

It works through 'Talkster' and basically you and the party you call are assigned 'local talkster' numbers in order to talk for free.

I tried it and it seems to work fine. I thought it would make a good widget so you wouldn't have to open your browser to use it. However...the reviews are mixed FreeRinger and it's ease of use.

I thought I would seek out some folks who might like to test the widget and post some honest reviews before I try to upload it. Check the site out and the reviews at Lifehacker.com and if you think you might be interested in testing it, shoot me a PM with your email and I will send you a copy of the widget. (I'll be responding this evening after work)

I ran teh widget and was able to register. However when trying to make the test call I was prompted to allow access to the microphone but was unable to do so. Clicking on the allow or the deny button didn't seem to register the click.

i went to the website and ws able to use that fine . . . so I don't know.

I updated flash on that PC jsut in case. No diff.

It did that to me the first time. It's something in the Flash player. I didn't update, it just stopped doing it. Hmmph. This may have been a waste of time on this widget and it sucks cause I was so happy I figured out how to do it,

Don't give up on it Po....sounds like a fun little widget. I'll give ya a hand testing it out also. I won't be around much any more this evening 'cause I gotta get some candles done before the Bellagio Hotel strings me up and skins me alive. I'll be around a little tomorrow night and most of the weekend.
