CPU Overload Vista 64

I installed IP  on a vista64 machine and almost immediately it put explorer.exe into a 25% CPU load.   Afterward - a regular cycle between 25% and 88% resulted every 20 seconds or so -   with obvious consequences - the computer more or less came to a grinding halt during the maximum CPU load.

I have Object Dock and IP only - no other skinning products.   

I unloaded the icon set and as soon as I do - all returns to normal so it is definitely IP.     

I was trying to use the  KRIM  icon set.      My guess is that it has something to do with "live folders" ...   don't know. 

Any suggestions?
