Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

We've made it a full month now with the SkinCast!  For Episode 4, WinCustomize Administrator Jafo joins the fun to talk to us a bit about the history of skinning and WinCustomize.  Unfortunately, mymicrophone blew up about 2min before we started to record so this week is just Island Dog and Jafo.

Next week, we're hoping to pull in RomanDA to talk about DesktopX and all various things gadget related.

For me this so far has been the most interesting episode. Why, the history lesson that was provided and hearing/listening to Jafo.   

I think we fail to realize how world wide customizing has become.  

I can't wait for some of the other members of the community to agree to be on SkinCast. Hmmm, that would be very interesting, get as many members from different parts of the world that you can to agree to be on SkinCast.  

I've been lucky to be able to travel to different places around the world and always found myself wanting to listen to conversations by folks either in English or their native language.   

Love the music.

There was a mention of GUI Championship this year. I know we already had one in the beginning of the year but is this going to be a Wincustomize sponsored one?

There was no GUI Champs at the start of the year, there was just the community contest BX ran.

There will be a 2008 GUI Champs later this year

This is definitely my favorite episode! I could've listened to Jafo talk for a whole hour.
It was a very interesting history lesson on skinning, and from a non-skinner standpoint it gave me better insight and that much more respect for the art.

Great work guys, and thanks to Jafo for doing this. Looking forward to hearing from more regulars on the site.

yay the aussie accent! it was sooo cool to hear Jafo speak my lingo! as always, wicked show.....i find myself looking for the new broadcast everytime i come here now.....(yep i luv the show) wikked show guys! can fuzzeh be on soon? I know I keep asking.......

Jafo needs to listen to this to remember what was mentioned....

By the time Zoomba had returned with a new mike the three of us rabbited on for about 3 hours.....

It was fun to do...and I'm happy to do another, but there are squillions of others I'd rather hear from first...

Thanks, guys for setting this up.  No matter how good Forums and/or IRC are.....nothing beats chin-wagging .....

Great listen yet again ..good to hear Jafo's input/views too.

I find myself looking forward to the release date of these skincasts more and more as time goes by. So glad it has been resurrected.
