Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Does the Impulse community thingo have a 'redo' function?

I figured I'd finally use my blog for something, and once I was done writing it I fiddled with the image placement and didn't like it... so I tapped undo a few times (ctrl-z). I fooled around a bit more and went back again, and after a while I went back too far. Is there a 'redo' function, to go back a step before it undid my entire article, or am I simply a dumb asshole for not posting it then editing?

Currently edit is as far as it goes. I will add this as a request for the feature.

Thanks... although I realised too late that merely asking the question would leave the sole article on my blog a noobish 'zomg I wrote an article then deleted it, can the Internet Genies get it back for me plz' post.  I think I've been avoiding it since.

Control Z is typically the 'undo' hotkey.

Control Y is typically the 'redo' hotkey.

Lo and behold, Control Y works in the editor on the Impulse Community!

CTRL-*Y*? It's shift-CTRL-Z in everything I've used before. Anyway, it's undocumented (not that there is any documentation) so I feel less bad.
