Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Icons arranging software?

know one , do you know others?

I found few days ago (accidentally) a way to arrange desktop icons in shapes like circles, hearts and so on.

Very nice software, but seems that costs.

I tried to find a free alternative but without success, i found instead another software that has the arranging feature but has fewer shapes and unfortunately you can't control the size and position of the shape.

Do you know a FREE program of this kind?

Oh, this is the website of the first program : WWW Link

I really appreciate if you can help me.

Thank you!

PS: I love Stardock products, especially IconPackager.

Well, I don't know of a freeware alternative, but Desktop Icon Toy is a good program that I have used in the past. I try not to keep too many icons on my desktop now, so I've quit using it for now, but it may be better than the above program. The website is here: WWW Link

I know desktop icon toy, is the second program i talked about in the first post, but like i said, it has fewer shapes (twice i think) and i don't like the interface, it's a bit heavy... and the main lack is the shape sontrol, i can't change the position on the screen, it's stuck on center.

Also i want to make the shape a bit bigger and i don't like the fact that the icons are placed on the margins when are too many.

Desktop Icons Arranger is made for arranging the icons, but i would prefer a free tool ... if i can't find one i will pay for it because is a nice and interesting (including the interface). It has some free shapes, but i want to see more i like the two circles and i'm curious how the alien shape looks like because i have a predator wallpaper
