Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Adding AutoHide Button to RocketDock

By Posted May 2, 2008 21:22:00
Hi all, I find myself clicking this in the menu quite frequently. Switching it on and off AutoHiding because RocketDock at times overlaps programs such as VLC or gets in the way of program menus.

Since such things as the RocketDock clock is possible, wouldn't it be possible to make a button with an icon in the Dock that would make it hide? Having to drop down the menu from time to time quickly gets annoying, and makes it seem like I constantly have to costumize the Dock in order to use it. A single button on the Dock would spare alot of time and problems.

Anyone have any idea how this could be done?

Here, it's something like this I'm dreaming of, click this while it's shown to hide it, when it slides down again and you click it it will stop hiding!

Didya take a look at the above screenshot messiah?
In case you didn't notice I actually did get the Dock despite the limitations of of the freeware

Yeah I looked at it and the 1 before it that was named fuckoff.jpg. Did you ask anyone how you might fix that issue? Try a reboot? Didn't work? Try a re-install? Didn't work, email support. They WILL help you. You're whiny attitude, and I quote,
BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
/whine
will not get you far here.

Please don't knock the software until you absolutely know it isn't going to work for you or isn't any good. There are millions of folks who use this prog problem free. There are bunches that encounter problems at first as well, but that is what support is for...SUPPORT. Stardock will work to make you happy. Honest.

This prog is a great prog, leaps and bounds over anything out there. Once you get your issues squared away, I assure you, you'll love it. And that's just the freeware version, the Plus version is even greater. Good luck and I hope you enjoy it.
