Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Explorer Address Bar Menus Unreadable

The text is the wrong color

By Posted May 1, 2008 21:50:49

I found a great skin with some mod and almost have it but the Explorer Address Bar Menus are just not readable. Can anyone tell me where to change the font color in SS6?

The text is just unreadable

See. Thanks in advance,

hi, have new info for you..

in vista now.....

okay in change colour section change :

menu text (to what colour you want it to be as normal default colour)
selected item (is more like a shadow for selected item text, make sure you get this colour right, otherwise it can render yr font unreadable)

selected item text (this colour is for mouseover pressed ect....)

for example if selected item text was WHITE, you would make the selected item colour a darker shade perhaps greyish........so its like a shadow, but still readable...

those 3 colours are for the start menu pop up section (and also skin photoshop drop down menu too)

start menu pop up has its own section for text and colours, ect, but it only changes when you adjust those 3 colours i just told you about.

also check out favourites menu and pop up menu, those colours can be changed in their text area in 'menu item'

okay done! truly hoped this helped!!

Thank you Kittymalone,

I found just what you suggested but changeing the default color did not change it for that particutlar part of the menu nor for the view menu with has the same problem in this particular skin.

I will keep looking for and answer and post if I find anything. Thank you so much for both you time and knowsledge,

this is hilarious! I have the same problems with unreadable menus with Win Vista SP1..I had hoped to use SkinStudio to fix this.BTW the Aero skin on my XP home desktop works perfectly.
