Is this for the tray icon? Mine here works via the tray. This would be dependant on what you want to have it do and I believe whatever icons you are to use would have to be inbeded into a dll file. With of course whatever action it would call for sync or inactive.

Also what are you using for a Bluetooth radio would help. Need specs for computer and system{ OS }!
Most for sure the specs on what program or type of bluetooth you are configuring.

Once I have this I can see if it is possible to work with or change the preset icons.

It's actually mimicing the tray icons look on active sync and bluetooth, just inside a dock...

If I add the systray to the dock 1) It looks ugly 2) I end up with all the other nonsense.

The Icons are actually readily available on the site for BT and Activesync,

As for BT, I guess the most commom BT would be the Widcomm radio / driver. And running XP.

The BT would just be a general radio status icon...think wifi splash and how it updates itself based on connectivity.

SGT . . perhaps I misunderstood the request . . but I thought the requester was looking for a docklet that was active . . not static icons.  Something that read WMI or the app API and changed accordingly.  I may have been so far off on this one.

Active icons... not static.

I tried using the sysstats wifi splash as a model, that updated itself based on the status...

but I have no idea where in the registry / i can find the bt / AS status and how to parse it.

Actually I think it would just be a modification of the wifisplash script and icon paths.

Funny, I'm searching the same type of icons. But my good will stoped cause I don't know where's the dll for wifi icons (Windows one), as well as battery status for acer epowermanagment gauge :-/.

You could probably make them active with DesktopX. That is, if they are going on your desktop. Is this what you want?

He'd also need a way to call those apps to show activity.  API, RSS, WMI, something.
